Committees
Many parents have begun the process
of forming committees or volunteering to share within these committees
based on their own talents, interests, and proficiencies. These committees
are formed to facilitate the development and growth of our community.
Each
of these committees will develop their objectives, and descriptions
as they evolve. They will determine the help they need from others in
the community and work to communicate broadly and co-operate in their
planning within the overall needs of the community.
Administrative Committee
Chair: Vicki Johnston
Purpose: To ensure the financial stability of RMCLE and assist in the
fulfillment of RMCLE's vision through financial means, as well as grant
research and proposals.
Grounds and Property
Committee
Chair:
Open
Purpose: To ensure that the grounds and buildings of RMCLE are well-maintained
and safe and to develop plans for land use and capital needs.
Marketing & Fundraising Committee
Chair:
Lucy Watkins
Purpose: To meet the school's financial needs through fundraising.
Volunteer Committee
Chair:
Open
Purpose: to ensure that the grounds and buildings of RMCLE are well maintained
and safe, to develop plans for use of the land and capital needs.
Educational Research
and Development
Co-Chairs: Vicki Johnston,
Purpose: To ensure that RMCLE fulfills the educational philosophy of its
founder via educational opportunities for students and adults, and to
assess how well we meet the learning community's agreed-upon goals and
individual student needs.
