Robert Muller School Curriculum

The Robert Muller School offers the perfect environment for the nourishment of the soul, by combining the best of current holistic teaching methodologies.

With the World Core Curriculum as a foundation, the Robert Muller School incorporates multiple teaching methods such as Montessori, Steiner, Waldorf, Gardner, Don Holdaway, as well as Whole Child Development based on ethics, creativity, imagination and eurythmy for children from age 3 to age 11. Read about our Programs.

Specific focus is placed on nurturing individual proficiency and portfolio progression for growth of the future adult. We foster a sense of fantasy through stories, plays and interaction with gardening, animals, and carefully designed hands-on materials, encouraging children to appreciate the value of nature and learn to preserve the planet as a whole.

We provide a wide variety of opportunities for our children to participate in programs to broaden their imagination as well as enhance their exposure to real-life experiences. Each year, we send delegates to GEMUN (Global Elementary Model United Nations) where they get a hands-on feel of being a United Nations representative from a foreign country.

We also actively participate in Destination Imagination, where awards of success have been achieved yearly. Daily encouragement toward creativity and imagery provides a fertile ground on which our children continue to grow. Depending on our unit of study, our field trips take us all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Our visits to the Symphony, Ballet or World Aquarium offer us clearer understanding of classroom and textbook course work.

At the end of each year, we thrill in the enjoyment of plays written and performed by our children. This further strengthens their understanding of curriculum through performance. Joyous music, offset by beautifully hand-painted backdrops, add to our pleasure as we literally observe our students' knowledge deepen with every spoken word of their script. All costumes, props, and choreography are created by the children. We all are so very proud of them!
